The longest-range option in the LRTI family is the LRTI-RCC Route Clearance Camera system. Designed to bid specs from the Rapid Equipping Force of the U.S. Army, the LRTI-RCC combines a high-resolution (640x480 array) thermal imager with the same dual field-of-view (DFOV) thermal lens from the DFOV LRTI. A visual imager is standard on the LRTI-RCC; this visual imager is an upgraded model, compared to the optional visual imagers on the other SRTI/MRTI/LRTI imagers. This enhanced visual imager uses an extremely long focal length visual zoom lens, providing detailed imagery of small objects from greater distance than ever. The system is mounted on a specially-modified pan & tilt positioner, suitable for vehicle operations and long service life.
